The University of Chicago Admissions Office recently announced an exciting new diversity initiative, the Opportunity Scholarship, to help increase the diversity of rich and privileged students attending the University. The Admissions Office said the new program reflects the University’s commitment towards bringing in all sorts of wealthy students from different backgrounds.

“We want to ensure we have diversity in all senses of the word:, geographic, racial, cultural, you name it. The initiative will entail increased outreach and contact with students and the new scholarship, the Opportunity Scholarship, toin order to let prospective students know that the University is a diverse and welcomingme community filled with all sorts of privilege. The sOpportunity Scholarship will available exclusively to only be for families making more than $250,000$ a year to ensure that those who need help the most recieveget it. The sScholarship will allow recipients to meet all of the University’s financial need in order to ensure financial well-being. The Scholarship will also feature specialized support staff to help students tap into their already rich network of opportunity and privilege to the fullest extent.
