Breaking News: North Resident Transferred to I-House
A remarkable event occurred on Monday when a first-year from Campus North Residential Commons (North) submitted a room change request to International House (I-House). After a thorough psychological evaluation of the student, Housing & Residence Life approved the request.
The student spoke to the Dealer under the condition of anonymity. “I didn’t have the best relationship with my roommate,” the student explained. “If Housing didn’t let me move out, I would’ve tried the streets next.” When asked for more information, the student declined, saying that they “needed to move all of their bags to I-House.”
The Dealer subsequently spoke to the roommate, also on condition of anonymity. “Alicia Baggrab? Oh, yeah, I don’t get why she left. I think she’s just blaming me because I’m an easy target. Sure, she told me that I should wear headphones when playing dubstep instead of blasting it in our room—but like, who doesn’t like dubstep?”
When pressed on what else the student complained about, the roommate replied, “She also said that I was too messy. I mean, sure, I was a little messy, but I made sure that my mess was not on my side of the room, thank you very much. My side of the room is perfectly clean.” The trash, according to the student, ranged from “ketchup packets” to “dead mice.”
“But it surely wasn’t worth I-House,” the roommate added. “Who would ever move to I-House… willingly?”
