Area Man Dies of Zumba

Area man Ted Peterson passed away in a tragic Zumba accident earlier this weekend. Peterson, 31, was lifting weights at his local gym when he passed an aerobic exercise class and contracted the deadly choreography. Zumba’s combination of hip-hop, merenggnue, and salsa is extremely contagious. Over 15 million people are currently known to do Zumba, 10% of whom are college freshmean excited to “try new things” during orientation week.

Peterson was immediately rushed to the hospital following infection, but it was much too late. Within hours, doctors confirmed that the alternation of fast and slow rhythms had already spread from his upper body to his legs and abdomen.

“His glutes were incredibly toned,” remarked Dr. Allan Bernstein, who oversaw the case, said.. “It’s a real tragedy.There is currently no known cure for Zumba. However, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) DC recommends decreasing one’s your chances of infection by avoiding brightly colored clothing and things that sound Spanish.
