Desperate Ruth Bader Ginsburg Asks If Anyone Interested in Joining a Fantasy Baseball League on Short Notice

According to sources close to the Shady Dealer, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg sent out a mass email this Sunday to over 100 of her colleagues asking if anyone is interested in joining her fantasy baseball league, named SC Top 9..

“A member of our league recently dropped out, and as a result, we have an opening, which any of you are welcome to fill,the email explainedread the email,. “We tried doing it with an even number of members, but we couldn’t agree on the proper interpretation of a hit, and every vote came to a 4-4 split.”

The email went on to warn that “if you cannot commit to taking it seriously and sticking around for all 162 games, please do not reply.”

UPDATEpdate: Upon discovering that Senator Mitch McConnell plans to block Obama’s nomination for a replacement SC Top 9 member, Ginsburg sent an angry email to the league members referring to Congress as “obstructionist,” “hypocritical,” and “probably full of fucking Red Sox fans anyways.”
