The Chicago Shady Dealer is Pivoting to Video

Following the lead of our peer, and also lesser news outlets (Buttfeed), the Shady Dealer has decided to pivot entirely to video. It is our feeling that in this, the 21st of centuries, a dynamic and engaging digital presence is integral to the success of our news organization. We will be quintrupling our investment in video and creating an entirely new unit dedicated exclusively to long-form, short-form, and longer-than-it-needed-to-be form video content. We will distribute via social channels, specifically the apple-watch wearing douche nearest to you. This does means that we will be phasing out all of our print and written journalism team. This is not a decision we made lightly, and the Shady Dealer would like to thank every one of our writers for their time and dedication in serving our audiences or whatever. As you know, the Shady Dealer has always been a pioneer in the video market. Our videos are widely distributed and viewed, and have earned just so many awards. The first two seasons of “SHADY” (view-able below) attracted EXCELLENT reviews and had an incredibly positive impact on our business. This is the foundation we will build on, and the opportunity we shall seize.
