Man Founds City of Pompeii in Scenic Location

ITALY – A lovely new town is currently being constructed near Italy’s west coast, a few days’ journey south of Rome. A tribe of Oscans moved into the area and began construction on a village they are naming “Pompeii.” According to our correspondent, the surrounding mountains and flowing lava make the village positively beautiful, which is likely to attract countless settlers looking for a peaceful, attractive location to farm. “We have high hopes for the village,” said one of its newest residents. “We pray that Vulcan will nourish our crops with the ash and keep us safe from any pumice-related troubles.”
