Dear Professors, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Y\u2019all know I have a lot going on. Between coursework, internship applications, and dealing with The Blobby Green Thing that has been growing on my dirty laundry, I barely have any time to take a day to myself to relax. So, imagine my delight when I saw that Congress was taking an Easter vacation during the latest government shutdown!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\u2019s just fantastic that Congress managed to protect its recreation time even though so many people are dependent on all the things to do. In fact, I think Congress should serve as a model for us all. Inspired by their wonderful example, I, too, will take a vacation from the many very important things I have to do and hope nothing bad happens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After all, it\u2019s not like airport lines will get any longer if I don\u2019t finish reading Old Man Goriot <\/em>by Tuesday. It\u2019s not like gas prices will continue to climb if I don\u2019t go to my collaborative learning session. And it\u2019s definitely not like I\u2019ll be responsible for World War III if I don\u2019t submit my Shady Dealer <\/em>articles by the deadline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Because even in my absence, The Blobby Green Thing will continue to grow. Soon, I won\u2019t even need to do anything. It will just be The Blobby Green Thing.
