What harm can a fun, fresh fling do?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My plan is simple: My old lab partner invited me to her annual Thanksgiving bonanza at her apartment. I\u2019m going to show up with a big platter of my grandmother\u2019s pear pumpkin spice popovers and sweep her almost (we\u2019re not looking for commitment here) off her feet with my delicious cooking and delectable family recipes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She\u2019ll tell me to come by sometime and bake with her (wink wink, nudge nudge), and the rest will be history. Nothing could possibly go wrong. No strings, no problem, ya know?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Counterpoint: I Think I&#8217;m in Love with Her<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Problem. <em>Biiiiig <\/em>problem. It\u2019s just\u2013she\u2019s so funny and <em>nice! <\/em>Being in a situationship is so much easier when they\u2019re not a good person. Sharon literally fosters rescued monitor lizards, <em>and<\/em> she lets me pet them. Apparently it\u2019s \u201cgood for their socialization.\u201d They\u2019re a little slippery, and they don\u2019t really like my popovers, but she gets really happy when I ask if I can hold them. It\u2019s almost better than the sex. Her being happy.
