I recently sent ten young scholars from my country to the United States for an education in molecular engineering and astrophysics. I was shocked, however, at the lack of scientific education in what you call \u201chigh school.\u201d Only two years of science required during the most important time in a child\u2019s social emotional and intellectual development, with the rest of the time being focused on war drills and militarization of physical education?
