According to data provided by an insider, an article completely unrelated to national, local, or University politics, has received a view.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI am pleased to report that an article we published about some Economics professor winning a medal logged one view on Monday,\u201d the insider said. \u201cWe are asking around to make sure the click didn\u2019t come from one of our staff, and so far, it hasn\u2019t.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The lone view is surprising, considering that a majority of the<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Maroon<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2019s activity comes from political arguments. The comments of <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maroon<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> articles are popular online forums for political debate among current students, alumni, and those claiming to be either. Upon entering one of these comment sections, one can expect to find opinions from the furthest ends of the political aisle, with scant in between.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In stark contrast, the aforementioned article about some professor is commentless. The<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Dealer<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> gave the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maroon<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> its second non-political article view to verify that there were indeed no comments on the article (there weren\u2019t).
