To keep players in shape during a rare off week, UChicago Football scheduled a scrimmage against UC Men\u2019s Rugby.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Will Tackleman, club rugby\u2019s fourth-year captain, said, \u201cMost of us have never played football before, but we thought this would be a good team-building event for the guys.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tackleman\u2019s mother, the game\u2019s sole spectator, kindly gave the Dealer a summary: \u201cIt was quite uneventful, to be honest. It looked like the rugby boys chose to play without a quarterback and instead tried to lateral their way down the field. Or they just didn\u2019t know the rules.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Either way, UC Men\u2019s Rugby managed to kick a field goal and win the game 3-0. A wide receiver, who wished to remain anonymous, blamed varsity football\u2019s multitude of dropped passes on the fact that the opposing team\u2019s shorts were \u201cdistractingly short.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unfortunately, the dealer was unable to find student witnesses to the game.
