{"id":2104,"date":"2013-03-16T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2013-03-15T17:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/35.224.237.165\/index.php\/2019\/02\/25\/twas-the-night-before-finals\/"},"modified":"2019-02-26T04:59:36","modified_gmt":"2019-02-25T21:59:36","slug":"twas-the-night-before-finals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chicagoshadydealer.com\/index.php\/2013\/03\/16\/twas-the-night-before-finals\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Twas the Night Before Finals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\"\" alt=\" \" \/><\/p>\n<h6>By <a href=\"\/search?author=Teddy Zamborsky\">Teddy Zamborsky<\/a><\/h6>\n<h6>Dec. 8, 2014<\/h6>\n<\/p>\n<p>T\u2019was the night before finals and all the through the dorm<\/p>\n<p>Not a student was stirring, trying to keep warm<\/p>\n<p>The papers were done, written without a real care<\/p>\n<p>Hoping that the math curve would really be fair<\/p>\n<p>Housemates were nestled, two to a bed<\/p>\n<p>With visions of Zimmer dancing in their heads<\/p>\n<p>With my floormate in a t-shirt and I in much less<\/p>\n<p>We had just come to my room to \u201crelieve some stress\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When out on the Midway there arose such a clatter<\/p>\n<p>She hopped off of me to see what was the matter<\/p>\n<p>We threw on some clothing to cover our skin<\/p>\n<p>And jumped out the window to Housing\u2019s chagrin<\/p>\n<p>The moon and the blue lights gave the scene a glow<\/p>\n<p>So we could see something amidst falling snow<\/p>\n<p>And right before we were going to take a hike<\/p>\n<p>We saw old Dean Boyer on his shiny bike<\/p>\n<p>The old man moved so nimbly and fast<\/p>\n<p>And proof of the legend was coming at last<\/p>\n<p>And with him soon his spirits came<\/p>\n<p>And he whistled and mumbled and called them by name<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow Plato! Now Sagan! Now Homer and Rosseau!<\/p>\n<p>On Friedman! On Fermi!
