No biggie; it\u2019s a common mistake. Just, you know, now you know. <\/p>\n<p>Like in the sentence, \u201cAt whom are you yelling?\u201d <em>You<\/em> is the subject, and the person you\u2019re yelling at is the object. You see? \u201cWho are you yelling at?\u201d is wrong, because you are still the subject and the person <em>at whom you are yelling<\/em>, me, is the object. Or rather, <em>I<\/em> <em>am<\/em> the object, because in that sentence <em>I<\/em> is the subject, <em>object<\/em> is the object. Do you get it, kiddo?<\/p>\n<p>Also, you shouldn\u2019t end a sentence with a preposition. I mean, it\u2019s fine, but you just shouldn\u2019t. It\u2019s one of those weird rules that doesn\u2019t really make sense but it\u2019s still a rule, you know? You\u2019ll get the hang of it, sweetie. <\/p>\n<p><em>Who<\/em> versus <em>whom<\/em> is just one of those things, like <em>your<\/em> versus <em>you\u2019re<\/em> or <em>or<\/em> versus <em>nor<\/em>. People will understand what you\u2019re saying either way, but the language you use to communicate can sometimes say more then just the words themselves. <em>Than<\/em>. Excuse me. Grammar can also be fun!<\/p>\n<p>For instance, which sentence is correct: \u201cThe hung jury hung themselves from the highest trees in the land\u201d or \u201cThe hung jury hanged itself from the highest tree in the land\u201d?<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s the difference? That\u2019s so cute, pumpkin. Actually, they\u2019re both wrong! <em>Hung<\/em> is the past tense <em>and<\/em> past participle of <em>hang<\/em>, except in the context of a well-executed execution. But <em>jury<\/em> is a group noun, which means for the verb to agree the jury must also which they don\u2019t because they\u2019re hung so they\u2019ll be hanged one by one.
