Victims’ Families Find Comfort in Protracted Legal Battle<\/delete><\/strong><\/insert> <\/strong><\/insert><\/delete> <\/delete>Convicted murderer Hollis Rhoper, better<\/insert> known as “The <\/delete>the “<\/insert>Falsetto Killer,”<\/em> has received a death<\/delete>capital<\/insert> sentence on Wednesday<\/delete> for the <\/insert>murder of<\/insert> an entire barbershop quartet early in<\/insert> 2013. After the sentencing, family members of the victims said they felt relieved by the prospect of a protracted legal battle that could, after at least three rounds ecad<\/delete>of appeals,ter a p last many years and<\/delete> result in a life sentence.<\/insert><\/p>\n

<\/insert> \u201cWe can finally have some closure knowing justice will eventually be served,\u201d said Alana Morgenthau, wife of ex-<\/insert>soprano Chip Morgenthau.<\/insert>,<\/delete> \u201cI personally feel at ease knowing that the sentence will be dragged through appellate court after appellate court.\u201d<\/insert><\/p>\n

They will then appeal to higher courts,<\/insert> on the grounds<\/insert> that the execution methods employed by the state of Utah constitute cruel and unusual punishment. <\/insert><\/p>\n
