Area man Ted Peterson passed away in a tragic Zumba accident earlier this weekend<\/delete>. Peterson, 31, was lifting weights at his local gym when he passed an aerobic exercise class and contr<\/insert>acted the deadly choreography. Zumba\u2019s combination of hip-hop, mereng<\/insert>gn<\/delete>ue, and salsa is extremely contagious. Over 15 million people are currently known to do Zumba, 10% of whom are college freshme<\/insert>a<\/delete>n excited to \u201ctry new things\u201d during orientation week. <\/p>\n

Peterson was immediately rushed to the hospital following infection, but it was much<\/delete> too late. Within hours, doctors confirmed that the alternation of fast and slow rhythms had already spread from his upper body to his legs and abdomen. <\/p>\n

\u201cHis glutes were incredibly toned,\u201d remarked Dr. Allan Bernstein, who oversaw the case, said<\/delete>.<\/insert>.<\/delete> \u201cIt\u2019s a real tragedy.” <\/insert>There is currently no known cure for Zumba.
