In an unexpected surprise, a<\/delete> Professor James<\/delete><\/insert>.<\/delete>Richard<\/insert> Bunich of the Mathematics D<\/insert>d<\/delete>epartment was recently visited by his parents. <\/delete> He was t<\/delete>T<\/insert>old on Wednesday that his parents would be arriving on Friday from Georgia,<\/insert>. In haste,<\/delete> Prof.<\/delete> Bunich had to shuffle his schedule with<\/insert>in<\/delete> haste<\/insert>so as<\/delete> to keep his parents entertained through the weekend. <\/p>\n

\t\u201cI love my Ma and Pa, but honestly I have enough work around here without having to take time to see them,\u201d said<\/insert>griped<\/delete> the Professor as he typed an<\/insert>his<\/delete> upcoming midterm. <\/p>\n

\tFriday night consisted of <\/delete> Bunich’s parents<\/insert>them<\/delete> staying for their son’s office hours, which they made him keep<\/insert>office hours<\/delete>, which<\/delete> the professor had to keep<\/delete>. Second-year <\/insert>Paula Nelson, who went to the office hours, told the<\/insert> <\/delete>Th<\/delete>e<\/delete> Shady Dealer <\/em>about the experience.<\/p>\n

<\/delete>\u201cThey just kinda sat in the corner of the office and smiled at Professor<\/delete> Bunich while he explained the homework,<\/insert>\u201d said<\/insert>ys<\/delete> Nelson<\/insert>Paula<\/delete>. \u201cThey seemed nice and all, but I could tell the professor was controlling his language and attitude around them. And I think I heard his mom say \u2018S<\/insert>s<\/delete>on, you weren\u2019t kidding about that Paula girl and her questions.<\/insert>\u2019 <\/delete>\u201d.<\/delete><\/p>\n

<\/delete>Prof. <\/delete>Bunich refused to speak on the validity of Ma\u2019s comment. At the end of office hours, the family went to a Brazilian restaurant<\/insert>to the<\/delete> downtown area<\/delete> for dinner. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s <\/delete>always<\/delete> nice to have dinner with my family because<\/insert> at least they pay for the meal,\u201d said <\/delete> Bunich. Such an ultimatum proved to be in his favor, since dinner was hosted at a rather pricey steakhouse.<\/delete> <\/p>\n

However, the meal turned sour when discussion turned to his future and career path.<\/insert>.<\/delete><\/p>\n

\u201cPa is always subtlety saying I would have been better off going to med school so I could pay for dinner every now and then,” said Bunich. <\/insert>. <\/delete>“<\/insert>Ma, on the other hand, just keeps bringing up girls in town because she wants grandkids.<\/insert>,<\/delete><\/insert>\u201d recounted the <\/delete>p<\/delete><\/insert>P<\/delete>rofessor.<\/delete> <\/p>\n

On Saturday, the family took a tour of Chicago. Bunich said he spent a good thirty minutes trying to explain that the Willis Tower and the Sears Tower are the same building.<\/p>\n
