The New Jersey authorities were involved when girls realized Peterson was trailing and photographing them.<\/p>\n<p>Although Peterson\u2019s social media accounts are flooded with photos of her enjoying winter break with friends, everyone featured in these recent posts are not her friends, as it turns out. Peterson wanted it to appear as if the girls in the background of the photos were her \u201cBFFs\u201d. When questioned about the intent behind her actions, Peterson admitted, \u201cI just wanted my college friends to think I had a lot of friends in high school.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Delaney Bergman, a past classmate of Peterson\u2019s caught in the crossfire, tried to provide some insight into the situation. When describing an incident that occurred at an outdoor ice-skating rink, Bergman said, \u201cAt first we thought, \u2018Hey, isn\u2019t that Amelia Peterson?\u2019 But when Kelly saw all of us in her snap story, we were like, \u2018What\u2019s up with Amelia Peterson?\u2019 You know?\u201d Although Peterson claims to have meant no harm, repercussions of Peterson\u2019s actions include \u201cdampening of the holiday spirit\u201d and \u201cextreme self-embarrassment\u201d according to anonymous sources. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t get why she didn\u2019t just lie to her college friends about how great her break was like the rest of us,\u201d Bergman said in a follow-up interview. Kelly, also present, nodded along.
