Like, I saw the Trump tower fall into the Chicago river. I feel kinda bad saying this, because there were still people in it at the time, but it was pretty awesome.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ackerman, a former employee of Wal<delete class=\"del cts-1\" data-cid=\"7\" data-time=\"1453771351695\" data-userid=\"13\" data-username=\"Matthew Goldenberg\">&#8211;<\/delete>Mart, no longer reports to work, one of the many changes in his daily routine caused by the Disaster. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cLike, I don\u2019t have a boss anymore<insert class=\"ins cts-2\" data-cid=\"26\" data-time=\"1453700899629\" data-userid=\"3\" data-username=\"Nicolas Aldape\">,&#8221; stated Ackerman. &#8220;<\/insert><delete class=\"del cts-2\" data-cid=\"25\" data-time=\"1453700899348\" data-userid=\"3\" data-username=\"Nicolas Aldape\">.<\/delete>I don\u2019t get paid, but like, we don\u2019t really have money anymore, anyway. I think it all burned, or something? Who knows. But like, I thought we\u2019d be eating squirrels and stuff to survive. There\u2019s still food around, though! Like, a lot of the good stuff from the Before Times is just lying around. It was darling!\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The Territory seems to lack a formal government, though a council of seven men who call themselves The Elders claim to have \u201csole dominion over the Territory and all its inhabitants.\u201d They reside in the solitary confines of the remains of a parking garage, which they claim was once City Hall. When asked to comment on the state of the Territory, one Elder responded: \u201cThe Outside is a terrifying place. The people are violent\u2014even cannibalistic, no man trusting another. We do not venture Outside.
