Anderson, 19, told the <em>Dealer<\/em> that she always thought of herself as \u201ca humanities gal.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you had asked me a few years ago, <insert class=\"ins cts-3\" data-cid=\"13\" data-time=\"1456192078036\" data-userid=\"15\" data-username=\"Daniel Ruttenberg\">&#8216;<\/insert>can you see yourself taking a hard science class<insert class=\"ins cts-3\" data-cid=\"12\" data-time=\"1456192073284\" data-userid=\"15\" data-username=\"Daniel Ruttenberg\">&#8216;<\/insert>, I would\u2019ve been<insert class=\"ins cts-3\" data-cid=\"11\" data-time=\"1456192060535\" data-userid=\"15\" data-username=\"Daniel Ruttenberg\">,<\/insert> like, no way!\u201d Anderson explained<insert class=\"ins cts-2\" data-cid=\"4\" data-time=\"1455832977800\" data-userid=\"13\" data-username=\"Matthew Goldenberg\">,<\/insert><delete class=\"del cts-2\" data-cid=\"3\" data-time=\"1455832977057\" data-userid=\"13\" data-username=\"Matthew Goldenberg\">.<\/delete> \u201cBut,\u201d she added, looking wistfully into the distance, \u201cthere\u2019s just something about chromosomes that\u2019s been really distracting lately.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While Anderson maintains that the class is \u201cnothing serious\u201d and that she\u2019ll \u201cprobably take it pass-fail,\u201d her friends are less convinced. Third-year Robert McMillan, for example, noted that Anderson seems increasingly unsatisfied by her social studies readings.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLast year, you couldn\u2019t tear Jen away from Marx or Freud for ten minutes,\u201d he commented<insert class=\"ins cts-2\" data-cid=\"6\" data-time=\"1455833001479\" data-userid=\"13\" data-username=\"Matthew Goldenberg\">,<\/insert><delete class=\"del cts-2\" data-cid=\"5\" data-time=\"1455833000495\" data-userid=\"13\" data-username=\"Matthew Goldenberg\">.<\/delete> \u201cBut these days, her eyes gloss over any material longer than a few pages.
