The child, who has no definitive name or age but responds to \u201cFlim Flam,\u201d \u201cSamantha,\u201d and \u201cOld Leroy,\u201d suffers from severe physical and psychological problems as a result of his unusual upbringing. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were passing by Second City and found him covered in dirt and curled up in a ball murmuring \u2018yes and\u2019 over and over again,\u201d explains Kevin Yang, who helped discover the child. \u201cWe tried to rescue him ourselves, but he started shrieking and applauding vigorously when we got too close. That\u2019s when we called the cops.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When interrogated by police, the child originally told officers that he was from a small town called \u201cBorpville\u201d where he works as a candlestick maker with his apprentice, Ronny, who is blind. The child tried to show officers some of his candles, but his hands were empty. The Chicago Police Department has since confirmed that Borpville is not a real city.<\/p>\n<p>Strange as it may seem, there are <delete class=\"del cts-2\" data-cid=\"20\" data-time=\"1461631517569\" data-userid=\"8\" data-username=\"Ryan Fleishman\">indeed <\/delete>several confirmed cases of abandoned children from around the world who have been raised by everything from wolves to chimpanzees. \u201cThe troupe must<delete class=\"del cts-2\" data-cid=\"21\" data-time=\"1461631656510\" data-userid=\"8\" data-username=\"Ryan Fleishman\">\u2019ve <\/delete><insert class=\"ins cts-2\" data-cid=\"25\" data-time=\"1461631657837\" data-userid=\"8\" data-username=\"Ryan Fleishman\">have<\/insert> found him while they were rooting around in the trash for costumes or props,\u201d commented Pete Hinsey, CPD superintendent. \u201cImprovisers are remarkably friendly.
