\u201cThis is water. Don\u2019t worry I am not the wise old fish who is going try and explain to you why David Foster Wallace is both embarrassing and the voice of our generation. Instead I will explain to you, in length, why I believe that both the Epic of Gilgamesh and your personal relation to whatever novel we are reading can be easily summed up by the first 100 pages of Infinite Jest. I for sure read the whole book, I just don’t really feel like talking about pages 101- 1079 that\u2019s all. The footnotes were crazy, am I right? Very kafkaesque.<\/delete>This is water.
