Dear Class of 2017,<\/span><\/insert><\/p>\n

We know you\u2019re all anxious to step over the threshold of college and into the bedroom of life, ready to consummate your academic achievements through real-world social intercourse. We remember when we were in your position, brimming with seminal knowledge and eager to finish our degrees.<\/span><\/insert><\/p>\n

It was around that time that we decided to give our first gift to the University of Chicago. It wasn\u2019t much, and we were a bit nervous, but they assured us that size doesn\u2019t matter. Now, nearly a decade later, we\u2019re taking it to the next level.<\/span><\/insert><\/p>\n

What\u2019s better than giving? Receiving. But what\u2019s better than receiving? Giving and receiving at the same time. That\u2019s why we\u2019re pledging to match your donations\u2014head to toe\u2014so that you receive as much as you give.<\/span><\/insert><\/p>\n

Giving to UChicago is a special, intimate act performed between an alumnus and their alma mater. But it feels a bit one-sided. Besides, we don\u2019t want you to blow all your money sucking up to the administration. That\u2019s why we\u2019re promising to match up to $69<\/a> per individual donation, so you can be satisfied knowing that you\u2019re getting something, too.<\/span><\/insert><\/p>\n

This Giving Day, give knowing that you\u2019ll also be receiving. That\u2019s not the only reason you should give, of course, but we\u2019re hoping it will make you feel extra generous knowing that something is coming on back your way after you\u2019re done.<\/span><\/insert><\/p>\n
