A<\/insert>A<\/delete> report published by the University of Chicago\u2019s Center for P<\/insert>p<\/delete>ractical W<\/insert>w<\/delete>isdom declares that the Center for Practical Wisdom<\/insert> is \u201ca complete waste of money.\u201d After considering the University\u2019s shrinking endowment, cost cutting, layoffs, and big-budget architecture, scholars at the center determined that their founding investment of 2 million dollars \u201cwould have been spent more wisely and more practically <\/delete>basically<\/delete><\/insert>almost<\/delete> anywhere else.\u201d<\/insert><\/p>\n

<\/insert>Since its founding in June 2016, the Center for Practical <\/insert>W<\/insert>w<\/delete>isdom has been tasked with asking deep,<\/insert> probing questions considered too concrete for the P<\/insert>p<\/delete>hilosophy department and too abstract for psychologist<\/delete>s. <\/insert>\u201cParadoxically, the Center for Practical Wisdom is accomplishing its goal,\u201d says director Patrick Howerbauche, \u201cwe wanted to scientifically isolate the factors that constitute institutional wisdom, and determining that this center was anything but wise and practical has been an important first step.\u201d <\/insert><\/p>\n
